Our Weekend Explorer trips have become popular escapes for people with busy lives who find it difficult to take long periods off and people who wish to ‘dip their feet’ into alpine trekking before committing to a longer trip.
This trip offers maximum flexibility in order to make the most of your limited time away. Available for individuals or groups, we tailor the itinerary to your needs and the current conditions in the Alps.
As a private guided trip it is possible to tailor-make the trip to your preferences.

TRIP ITINERARY EXAMPLE:
Day 1: Meeting in Chamonix Mont Blanc, France
Meet with your guide at our comfortable hotel in Chamonix for a welcome meeting to discuss your week ahead. Your evening is free to explore the many bars and restaurants in Chamonix.
Day 2: The Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve
A walk in the Aiguilles Rouges to the beautiful Lac Blanc, a mountain lake from where we have amazing views of the Mont Blanc massif and the Chamonix valley. This is a great day to get used to the altitude and familiarise ourselves with the terrain.
Day 3: The Contamines Valley and Mont Truc
From the village le Tour we walk to Col de Balme where we can lunch in a mountain refuge before returning to Chamonix. Depart Chamonix in the afternoon to catch flights back.
Day 4: Depart Chamonix
After breakfast, you check out of your hotel. This is the end of the trip.
These trips can be extended with additional days as required and are not excluded to weekends.
